Pitching the Responsive Web Design Value Proposition to Senior Staff & C-Level Executives

Abstract

Everyone knows what an "App" is today, thanks to the two giant vendors of proprietary App stores (Apple and Google), but while most Executives and C-Levels may have heard the term, 'Responsive Design', they probably only have a vague idea if any of what it actually is. If you ask them if they like using apps built for a phone on their tablet, they might start to catch on. If you ask them how they like scrolling left, right and up and down, to navigate tabular data, you'll be heading down the right path. This session will give you a template to introduce the Responsive Web Design Value Proposition to non-technical decision makers and those unfamiliar with the concept of designing for N Screens on N Devices. Whether over the phone or preferably in person and not on IE, the capstone Ah-ha moment is the RWD Visualization Demo, Shrink that window, because seeing really is believing!
