Mobile Meeting Schedule: a Responsive Table in the Real World

Title

Mobile Meeting Schedule: a Responsive Table in the Real World

Presenter

Abstract

Tasked with building a mobile version of a meeting schedule that was already in a table, I checked the web to find out how others had adapted tables to work in a responsive manner. Given the messy nature of our particular meeting (overlapping breakout sessions, empty rooms, etc.), it wasn't surprising that none of the potential solutions I found at the time were a perfect match for our needs. So I adapted one, and then added a pinch of JavaScript to highlight the current session and jump you to that location on the schedule.

In this session, I'll show you how I did it.
